Is Kualoa Ranch a good venue for corporate and incentive groups?

These stories are not just historical footnotes. They are living parts of the ranch's identity, and they are why a group day there is different from a hotel lawn.

Kualoa was established in 1850. It covers 4,000 acres across Kualoa, Hakipuʻu, and Kaʻaʻawa. In 1850 King Kamehameha III sold about 622 acres to Dr. Gerrit P. Judd, a missionary doctor and advisor to the king. The sale included fishing rights and Mokoliʻi island. His son, Charles Hastings Judd, later expanded the estate to its current size. The ranch is owned and managed by sixth, seventh, and eighth generation descendants of Dr. Judd. It is a family-descendant owned private nature reserve.

Ancient Hawaiians considered Kualoa one of the most sacred places on Oʻahu: a residence of kings, a puʻuhonua, or place of refuge, and a training ground for royalty in the arts of war, history, and social traditions. Makahiki games were held there. Moliʻi is an 800-year-old fishpond listed on the US National Register of Historic Places. The small island just offshore is Mokoliʻi.
